The Performing Arts Administration (PAA) graduate program at NYU Steinhardt offers Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) for the Arts Workshop to the current PAA students every semester. The Spring 2022 EDI workshop held on Friday, March 25, 2022, was special in that the students had a chance to contribute directly to making a difference in their graduate program. During this hands-on workshop, Donna Walker-Kuhne, Adjunct Professor of Performing Arts Administration, guided students through a series of reflections to explore what diversity and a sense of belonging mean to the community members of the program. They imagined what success would look like and brainstormed ideas for measurable performance indicators to assess the progress.
