Attendees saw presentations from across the rehabilitation fields in multiple academic departments and heard from CoHRR and Seed Award grantees.
NYU Steinhardt’s Center of Health and Rehabilitation Research (CoHRR) 2024 Spring Showcase on Friday, April 19, brought together students and faculty from across rehabilitation disciplines to network, learn, and showcase their research.
The event included a networking lunch and two student poster sessions, as well as presentations from Smita Rao, co-director of CoHRR and inaugural Robert S. Salant endowed associate professor of physical therapy, and past and present CoHRR Seed Award winners:
- 2024 winner Eric S. Jackson, associate professor of communicative sciences and disorders, for his project “Neurocognitive Responses Preceding Stuttered Speech across the Lifespan”
- 2024 winner Si On Yoon, associate professor of communicative sciences and disorders, for her project “Virtual Communication in Alzheimer's Disease”
- 2022 winner Angela Tude, assistant professor of nutrition and food studies
