Join the IE program in welcoming Pashtana Durrani to speak about her journey from refugee to educator and how she built LEARN Afghanistan, the country’s first digital school network for girls under Taliban rule.
Drawing on her memoir, Last to Eat, Last to Learn: My Life in Afghanistan Fighting to Educate Women, she will connect personal narrative with debates on education, gender, power, and international solidarity in conflict zones.
