The NYU Steinhardt Department of Occupational Therapy is pleased to announce that two student groups were presented with awards from the 2023 Research and Scholarship Showcase, an annual event presented by the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, the Graduate Student Organization (GSO), the Office of Research, and the Office of Student Affairs.
We extend our congratulations to Collette Aguirre (MS '24), Lauren Hart (MS '24), Claudonna Hewitt (MS '24) and Milan Johnson (MS '24) for receiving The Best Master's/Advanced Certificate Poster Presentation award for their project entitled "Occupational therapists' experiences of using shared decision making approach when providing telerehabilitation for individuals with stroke: A qualitative study." Additionally, we are proud to congratulate Molly Breslow (MS '24), Megan Hartnett (MS '24), Grace Jarrett (MS '24), Yasmin Al Khalil (MA '23), and Caroline Warner (MS '24) for receiving The Best Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Poster Presentation award for their project entitled "Occupation-Related Interventions Effect on Female Survivors of Sex Trafficking."
