Where were you born/where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Brooklyn.
Where did you attend undergrad/grad school?
My undergrad and graduate degrees were completed at York College.
What's your go-to snack?
My go-to snack is Honey Bunches of Oats.
What's your favorite book?
I love a good mystery. I have been reading the In Death Series by J. D. Robb.
What's your favorite movie?
I love The Hate You Give right now because it speaks to the changes that are needed in our society for the generations to come.
What's your favorite music?
I listen to a lot of different music, but R&B is my favorite.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my family, read, or watch movies.
Coolest thing you've done/seen in NYC?
One of the coolest things about NYC is that it allows you to see the different architectural styles worldwide.
Favorite spot in NYC?
Parks are a great place to meet up with friends and relax.
One piece of advice you'd give to graduate students:
Networking starts in the classroom, and your professors and classmates can be your connections to internships, jobs, and research opportunities.
