Curriculum

Online MA, Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness

The curriculum for the online master of arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to help people from all backgrounds achieve lives of wellness, health, and meaning. The program requires a total of 60 credit hours and can be completed in 21 to 30 months, depending on when you start.

In addition to completing one of the course sequences below, you must also complete the Counselor Education Comprehensive Examination (CECE) during your last term in the program. The CECE is the terminal experience for all Counseling@NYU students.
