This 16-credit minor provides you with a basic understanding of nutrition for healthy living. What You'll Learn

The 16-credit minor in Nutrition and Dietetics allows you to explore the role of nutrition in healthy living through coursework in food science, health and nutrition, human physiology, diet assessment, and additional electives. You’ll gain a nuanced understanding of the basic science and theoretical and applied aspects of nutrition and dietetics, emerging with the skills to make and encourage informed choices about nutrition.

Nursing students may take NURSE-UN 70 Anatomy & Physiology in place of NUTR-UE 1068 Introduction to Human Physiology.
