Research Interests: I am interested the development of children and adolescents as they are a vulnerable population that must be advocated for and I intend to do this through extensive research. Specifically I would like to research early intervention methods to support youth in marginalized communities.

Career Goals: I am drawn to a research-oriented career in order to support the development of youth through evidence-based policies. The multidisciplinary approach in this program is an ideology I aspire to take along with me anywhere irrespective of my career path.

Why HDRP? I chose the HDRP MA because this program offers a unique opportunity to apply what is learned about human development to real-world settings through an internship opportunity. I believe this program will provide me with theoretical knowledge, research skills, and professional training that is necessary to critically assess the diverse contexts of human development.
