Explore how communication disorders are treated in a global context while gaining exposure to interdisciplinary clinical settings. In London, you’ll examine how healthcare systems shape services for individuals with communication disorders. Through coursework and site visits, you’ll compare U.S. and U.K. approaches across clinical disciplines.

Course Highlight

Each fall, we offer a course at the NYU London campus called "Contemporary Issues in Health Services in the United Kingdom: An Experiential Approach" for 4 credits. The course is a mix of seminar-style class meetings and site visits to clinical facilities in the London metropolitan area that explore clinical service provision in the UK compared to the US. The course also introduces the range of disciplines represented in a clinical interdisciplinary team.
