Student Teaching Science Education: High School

This semester long experience in a high school science class involves negotiating and enacting appropriate learning experiences- assessing teaching and learning and revising oneåÕs teaching on the basis of student performance. Students will attain the skills for contextualizing science teaching within an urban school culture. This experience promotes teacher self-assessment as a way of enhancing student learning and strengthening professional education.
