Neuroanatomy and Physiology of Communication

This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of brain and behavior relationships by studying the neurological bases of motor and sensory function, speech and language production, language comprehension, hearing, swallowing, and cognition. Development of the nervous system, the action potential, central and peripheral nervous system anatomy and physiology, and related pathological conditions are discussed.
