Foundations of School Counseling

This course focuses on the history & changing role of school counselors in the 21st century, including innovative roles & modes of intervention (e.g., direct service, consultation, program development(, & ethics. In addition, the counselor’s role in school reform & social advocacy will be addressed in accordance with the American School Counseling Association National Model.
