Course offers multidisciplinary examination of seminal concepts of modernization and global analysis and their application to education. It focuses on the mission of international education in different cultural contexts and the underlying theoretical assumptions and models that inform development projects undertaken by organizations such as the UN Development Program, the World Bank, the Council of Europe, and the US Agency for International Development.
