3D Fundamentals II

Explores the medium of sculpture through the principles of three-dimensional design and the concepts that drive developments in contemporary art. Projects may include welding, mold making, and the use of wood working tools, as well as the use of sculpture as costume, performance, environment, or kinetic form. Students use a variety of materials from wood and cardboard to metal, plaster, and found objects to expand their understanding of form and space. This course is a continuation of ART-UE 211.
