The Applied Psychology major is an interdisciplinary program designed to develop students who can bridge psychological theory, research, and practice in a multicultural world.

Whether your major is Applied Psychology or the Global Public Health/Applied Psychology combined major, your first year curriculum will look like this (all terms and sessions are required):

Introduction to Psychology and Its Principles OR Social Psychology (by advisement)

Writing the Essay

Two Liberal Arts Core Courses from the following areas:

  • Expressive Cultures
  • Texts and Ideas
  • Cultures and Contexts
  • Physical or Natural Science
  • Quantitative Reasoning
  • Foreign Language
