Pavel Vinnitsky, clarinetist, has concertized throughout the world to acclaim, and is currently leading a versatile performing career in New York City. An avid orchestral musician, he performs regularly with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and has been featured on numerous Met radio and HD video broadcasts. He also appeared as a guest clarinetist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony as well as the American Symphony, the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and the American Ballet Theatre (ABT). In 2011 Mr. Vinnitsky was appointed principal clarinetist with Stamford Symphony Orchestra.

In constant high demand as a chamber musician, Mr. Vinnitsky is a member of Le Train Blue and the Memling Ensemble and appears frequently with the Wind Soloists of New York, the St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble, the International Contemporary Ensemble, Sylvan Winds, and Wall Street Chamber Players, among others.

A dedicated klezmer music performer, Pavel Vinnitsky has appeared at some of the world’s major klezmer music festivals and venues. He is also a founding member of the Jewish Arts Ensemble of New York. His discography includes recordings for the New World and Bridge Records labels, numerous broadcasts on WQXR, CBS, Israeli National TV, and Bavarian Radio as well as major motion picture soundtracks.

Mr. Vinnitsky holds degrees in clarinet performance from Tel-Aviv University and Yale University School of Music.
