Kacy Wiggins is a Brooklyn-based composer, instrumentalist, artist, and electronic musician, as well as a lecturer in mathematics at Hunter College/CUNY. Wiggins has worked as a recording studio assistant and recording engineer.
A veteran of the burgeoning underground electronic music and media scene that grew up around the clubs and warehouse parties of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, He has carried the spirit of experimentation and rapid technological innovation forward in his own work, while always acknowledging the importance of historical context. He was one of the first in the scene to embrace the laptop as a performance instrument.
He has performed at many venues including the Brooklyn Museum, Lincoln Center, PS 122, and Zoobizarre (Bourdeaux, France), often collaborating with other musicians, sound artists, and visual artists. His music is available through the Agriculture label and via Bandcamp.
