Dr. Charles Raffaele is a postdoctoral researcher in the CREATE lab. He obtained his Ph.D. in educational psychology from the Graduate Center, City University of New York. His research is focused on digital technologies for learning (e.g., games, apps, multimedia), including particularly for second language learning. He is an adjunct assistant professor in the Secondary Education and Youth Services department at Queens College, City University of New York. He has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. He has presented at the annual conference of the American Educational Research Association, and published and contributed to chapters on game-based learning and writing implementation in psychology instruction.
