Brian Gordon

Doctoral Student

Teaching and Learning

Brian is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Science and Environmental Education. His primary research interest is exploring alternative pedagogies for reconceptualizing curriculum in outdoor education. 

Brian has twenty years as a practitioner of experiential and science education in outdoor, environmental, secondary, and post-secondary settings. He holds a BA in Geography from Binghamton University and an MA in Middle Childhood Science Education from Brooklyn College.
