Henry Ruan started his teaching career as a high school Chinese World Language teacher in the New York City Department of Education 30 years ago. He is currently a Chinese world language teacher at a private school. Henry previously served as a member of the College Board's Advanced Placement Chinese Curriculum Committee from 2008-2012. He has also served an adjunct professor at Teachers College Columbia University and Hofstra University. Henry has presented locally and nationally on Chinese language instruction and has written multiple articles on the subject. He holds an M.A. in French Language, and an DPS in Educational Computing, and is a NYS certified Chinese world language teacher.
