Michael Tranquilli is an Occupational Therapist and private-practice clinician specializing in the rehabilitation of adults with neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal impairments. An alumnus and adjunct professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at New York University, Michael assists the Dept. with educating students in rehabilitation evaluation and intervention of physical disabilities; and, analysis of human activity and occupational performance. Michael’s consulting and research interests include ergonomics and universal design relative to worker productivity and workplace accessibility; adaptive and inclusive design strategies for wearable and health care product development; and 3D simulation for education and rehabilitation.
