Assistant Director for Faculty Programs in the Office of Residential Life & Housing Services at NYU

Kerri Smith currently serves as the Assistant Director for Faculty Programs in the Office of Residential Life & Housing Services at NYU where she oversees the faculty in residence program, living-learning communities, and assessment initiatives for the department.
She also serves as Lecturer in the Student Affairs Administration program at the University Wisconsin-La Crosse and Associate Editor for ACUHO-I's Journal of College and University Student Housing. She received her Bachelor's in history from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, her Masters in College Student Development & Counseling from Northeastern University, and her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.
Kerri started her career in student affairs as a hall director at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. She went on to work at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville as a Specialist for First-Year Academic Initiatives and then an Assistant Director for Academic Initiatives and Leadership Development in University Housing before joining the team at NYU.
