Artist, educator, curious human. For the past fifteen years, I have been working an as elementary educator in New York City Schools. I am passionate about bring equity, empathy, understanding and joy into the classroom. I focus on creating a democratic classroom to empower students to love learning and to be active citizens in the community. My classroom is a laboratory for arts integration-visual, theater, music.
At New York University, I work as an adjunct in the Art Education and Special Education Programs.
