Kathleen Mark is a cellist, vocalist, and music educator who has been teaching instrumental music in the Rockville Centre Public Schools since 2002. She received her BS in Music Education from NYU Steinhardt, her MA in Musicology from Brooklyn College of The City University of New York, and her Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership from Long Island University, C.W. Post. 

Ms. Mark’s teaching experience includes elementary, middle school, and high school strings, as well as the International Baccalaureate’s Middle Years and Diploma Programmes in Music. She has also served on the music education faculty at the Brooklyn College-Conservatory of Music.

Active in many professional organizations, Ms. Mark has presented numerous workshops and clinics for The New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME), has conducted orchestral literature reading sessions at the Balanced Mind Conference, and serves as an All-State Strings NYSSMA Adjudicator.
