Chauntenay Young is a Junior Grants Administrator at NYU Metro Center for research on equity and the transformation of schools. She is responsible for managing the consultant agreement process, tracking expenses, making supplies purchases, handling pre award fee for service contracts and proposal submission, as well as monthly budget reporting, and semi-monthly account reconciliation of the purchasing cards. She received her Bachelor's degree from Lehman College in Business Administration and is currently studying in the MPA program at NYU Wagner with a focus on nonprofit financial management. Outside of her professional position, she is dedicated to the elevation of underserved communities and populations. She is a mother of two boys, enjoys traveling and movies, and learning new things each day.
