Yolanda Fordham’s work in Education spans 24 years, beginning as a teacher with the New York City public schools. As a staff developer, she has trained new teachers and supported experienced teachers. She has also served as a Teaching Fellow Adviser. She is a Certified Mentor with the Mentor Teacher Internship Program. She received a B.A. from Hunter College in Elementary Education/ELA, with a minor in Romance Languages; M.A. from Fordham University in Bilingual Education; and an Advanced Certificate in TESOL at NYU. She holds a NYC License in the Common Branches (N-6), and NYS Bilingual Extension to the CB License.
