Jessica is currently a 3rd year doctoral student in the Educational Psychology program at CUNY Graduate Center. She is the Lab Manager for Dr. Bruce Homer's CHILD Research Lab and is a research affiliate for the CREATE lab.
Jessica received her bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology at New York University - Steinhardt, where she focused on areas of educational, cultural, and developmental psychology. Upon graduating, she served as Project and Data Manager for the UPK lab in the Institute of Human Development and Social Change for several years before beginning her graduate studies.
She is particularly interested in researching the ways in which children learn in informal learning spaces. More specifically, her areas of research focus on interactive instruction and how we can broaden learning experiences through media, art, and technology in equitable ways.
