NYU Steinhardt offers a variety of short-term, credit-bearing study abroad opportunities throughout the summer. Participants immerse themselves in a new context, culture, and academic perspective.
Enrich your graduate degree with a global perspective! Our intensive, credit-bearing study abroad courses will broaden your horizons in a dynamic, intercultural setting and are open to all NYU graduate students. Most programs are also open to undergraduates with Senior standing and non-NYU graduate students and professionals.

Learn about socialized health care, education, access, and social welfare for individuals with disabilities in Shanghai.
Ghana: Intern Abroad in International Education
Intern in Accra, Ghana this summer where you will acquire hands-on experience and develop professional skills and networking relationships within the international education field.
Ireland: Community-Engaged Theatre
Explore facilitation, devising, and playwriting/adaptation, along with approaches to using dramatic activities to create a context for theatre work in collaboration with different groups and communities.
Italy: Art Therapy
Forge connections with local communities in Florence this summer as you practice hands-on art therapy training.
