Sergio Ozoria Ramírez is a part-time Grants & Operations Coordinator at the international research center, Global TIES for Children. In 2021, he graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. During his time at NYU, he volunteered as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Culture, Families, and Early Development lab. Prior to joining TIES, he worked as Research Coordinator at the Columbia School of Nursing where he coordinated and provided support to multiple NIH-funded research in HIV prevention and management. In efforts to continue his passion for research and practice in public health, he hopes to pursue a Master of Public Health or Healthcare Administration.
Mr. Ozoria was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to Bronx, New York at the age of 14. One of his favorite hobbies is to explore the fiction section at Barnes and Noble to pick up books that spark his interest. He enjoys reading books as much as he loves scouting through Crunchyroll to watch new anime on his free time. He recently discovered DataCamp, and he uses it to get his data science nerd on - don't knock it until you've tried it!
