

Sabrina Caldwell is a doctoral candidate at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education, Culture, and Human Development focusing on secondary social studies education. She also teaches as an instructor for the NYU Teacher Residency. Sabrina’s work and research at NYU centers on urban teacher education, with a focus on teacher residency programs, equitable and antiracist pedagogy, and critical pedagogy in social studies education that equips students with the tools and skills to recognize and dismantle social and political systems of oppression and inequity.
