Ron Woo is an educator with over 50 years of experience in public school and higher education, specializing in educational policy and law, leadership, second language acquisition, and teacher preparation.
In public education, Ron has held multiple senior policy and administrative leadership roles, including that of superintendent. In higher education, he has directed alternative teacher certification programs and served as a senior policy associate. He is also a frequent presenter at local, state, and national conferences.
Ron currently teaches graduate-level courses in educational leadership, focusing on education policy and law. He holds a BA in Education, an MA in TESOL/Applied Linguistics, and a JD. Additionally, he holds permanent New York State School District Administrator (SDA) and School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) certifications, as well as permanent teaching certificates in Childhood Education and TESOL.
