
Rani Pappan, MSEd, provides on-site and remote consultation services to support and empower educators to establish classrooms that cultivate self-determination, engagement, and belonging. She strives to give students of all abilities the opportunity to learn and grow to their full potential.
Rani is a licensed special education teacher with a dual masters degree in early childhood special education and general education from Adelphi University. She is also certified in the TEACCH methodology and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. Rani was an elementary school teacher in New York City schools and private schools for 13 years and has also worked with children and families in early intervention settings. She uses a strength-based approach in her instruction at NYU with a focus to support educators and families in promoting autonomy and collaboration.
