Rahma Ali

Data Analyst

Rahma Ali is a statistical researcher and data analyst with over 4 years of experience in quantitative research and impact assessment of poverty reduction programs. She has worked on labor market and climate change related research in Egypt. Prior to joining Global TIES for Children, she worked at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) office and the World Bank on randomized control trials to inform policy makers with research based evidence. Her experience includes leading field data collection activities in rural communities in Egypt, which has given her first hand experience in working with underprivileged populations. Her work on impact assessment contributed to informing the Egyptian government on youth employment interventions and optimizing social protection in Egypt.

Rahma holds a master of science in statistics with a concentration in environmental and spatial statistics from Cairo University.
