Pamela M. Jones is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning at New York University (NYU). Her current research interests focus on exploring the intergenerational language and literacy practices in African-American families. Her research areas include Black linguistics, critical literacies, and decolonizing elementary-level and higher education. In addition to her doctoral work at NYU, Pam is a member of the graduate faculty of the Bank Street College of Education, where she works in the Childhood Special Education program supporting pre-service and in-service teachers in the roles of Advisor and Instructor.
