Logan (he/him) is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning, with a concentration in Special Education. Logan’s interests lie in the benefits, impact, and practices of meaningful inclusion for students with disabilities. His research focuses on how these inclusive practices can enhance educational and social-emotional experiences and outcomes for all students. Additionally, he will investigate the criminalization and exploitation of people with disabilities.
Logan is a former educator with five years of experience teaching Special Education in public schools. He holds a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Georgia College & State University and a master's degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to his traditional training, Logan is a Teach for America alum.
