Isabel Diaz-Cassou is an Adjunct Professor of Music Technology at New York University (NYU). She obtained a master’s degree in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt, concentrating her studies on spatial audio for film, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Her main interests in music technology lie within the fields of audio-visual relationships, sound design and audio post-production. She focuses on the study of the interaction between music and sound with moving media, and how to contextualize it with other media forms. She has taught the Audio for Video courses at NYU Music Technology for many years, as well as the core Collegium classes.
