Chris is a Ph.D. student at the Center for Data Science at NYU advised by Professor Brian McFee. Currently, his research interests lie in audio signal processing in urban environments, algebraic representations of variance in natural data, and multi-source methods in recommender systems. Prior to joining CDS, Chris worked as a research scientist at NYU’s Physics department, working on modeling solar flares, and low-count dark matter detection experiments, and as an adjunct instructor for several undergraduate courses. Chris holds a B.S. in physics with minors in computer science and mathematics from NYU (2017).
