NYU Steinhardt's program in Music Education sent a cohort of students and faculty to this year's New York State School Music Association winter conference in Rochester, NY.

Doctoral candidate Peter Tinaglia presented "Honoring Intersectionality and Teaching Inclusively: Best Practices for Meeting Exceptional Students in Music." Tinaglia's presentation was part of a panel of student researchers from NYU, Eastman School of Music, and Penn State University.

Senior Viviana Garcia represented our student teaching program at the Collegiate Student Teaching Panel.

Junior Angela Burtulato serves on the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Collegiate executive board as the Province 6 representative for all of New York City's collegiate chapters, and she spoke about the work at the NAfME Collegiate executive board dinner.
