Mary Morris (MA ’20), Drama Therapy
Mary interned as a drama therapist at Girl Be Heard, an organization that promotes the voices of young women through socially-conscious theatre-making.
She worked in their education department to build a self-care unit into their afterschool and workshop curriculums, created a handbook of trauma-informed guidelines and procedures, and offered therapeutic group support to teaching artists.
