The Newcombe Fellowship is the largest and most prestigious award for Ph.D. candidates in the humanities and social sciences addressing questions of ethical and religious values in interesting, original, or significant ways.
Doctoral student Harris Kornstein is a recipient of the 2020 Newcombe Dissertation Fellowship, awarded by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.
Kornstein is writing his thesis, "Queer Enchantment: Contours, Cruising, Crystal Visions, and Other Queer Tactics for (Not) Being Seen," with faculty committee chair Nicole Starosielski.
