Building on the success of last year’s event, the Performing Arts Administration (PAA) graduate program launched its second annual Experts-in-Residence program (EIR) to connect students with a distinguished group of arts administration professionals representing diverse disciplines across the performing arts sector.

The 2025–26 cohort includes:

  • Duke Dang ('06), Executive Director, Works & Process
  • Laura Giannatempo, Senior Director, Marketing, Jazz at Lincoln Center
  • Albert Martinez ('23), Manager of Strategy and Planning, Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation
  • Emily Mathis Corona ('20), Director of Development, NYU Steinhardt
  • Jack Noseworthy ('23), Commercial Theatre Producer, Truworthy Productions; Individual Giving Officer, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
  • Cameron Terry ('23), Founder and Artistic Director, Shades Dance Theater
  • Mara Vlatković, Digital Communications Analyst, United Nations Population Fund; Co-founder, Young Professionals in the Arts
  • Caylin Waller ('22), Executive Director and Co-Founder, Theatre Advocacy Project

The Experts-in-Residence program provides PAA students and recent graduates with opportunities to acquire professional insight, individual guidance, and practical learning from leaders who are actively shaping the performing arts field. Throughout the academic year, the experts will engage with students through one-on-one meetings, events, and workshops designed to connect classroom learning with real-world experience.

The 2025–26 academic year kicked off with the event “Meet the PAA Experts-in-Residence,” held on October 6 at NYU Steinhardt. Facilitated by PAA Program Administrator and ICF-Certified Coach Minji Kim, the event introduced the new cohort to the innovative speed-networking format, which enables students to engage in small-group conversations with each expert.

Students received the experts’ bios and background information in advance, enabling them to prepare thoughtful questions and connect more meaningfully during the sessions. After the event, many described feeling “invigorated,” “validated,” and “affirmed” by the conversations. Following the structured networking sessions, students and the Experts-in-Residence continued their discussions during an informal reception.

The Experts-in-Residence program continues to deepen students’ professional growth by fostering meaningful dialogue, connection, and collaboration between emerging arts administrators and industry leaders.
