Mehmet Dede Wins globalFEST Impact Award

Music Business faculty member Mehmet Dede received the Impact Award at the globalFEST Awards Ceremony on January 29. The award, which goes to “a professional who has earned respect and praise from the global music community for their outstanding commitment to the field,” presented to Professor Dede and Serdar Ilhan, co-founders of the East Village music venue Drom. The ceremony is part of the 2021 globalFEST Wavelengths Conference, one of the largest gatherings of world music professionals in North America.
