Jazz Studies alum Rafael Rosa (MM ’14) is a recipient of the 2022 Guggenheim Fellowship. A guitarist, composer and media engineer, Rosa plans to use the grant to record new music with multiple artists. Approximately 175 individuals are awarded the grant each year. The purpose is to provide artists, possessing exceptional creative ability, with blocks of time in which they can work with as much creative freedom as possible.
