- Recently completed a three-year, multisite efficacy trial for Stroll Safe, an outdoor falls prevention program that she developed. Study findings were accepted for presentation at the 2022 Gerontological Society of America (GSA) annual conference as part of a symposium.
- Authored "Outdoor Falls Prevention Strategy Use and Neighborhood Walkability Among Naturally Occurring Retirement Community Residents" in Health Education and Behavior.
- Presented Intraprofessional Conversations Begin in the Classroom: An Exploratory Study on an OT-OTA Joint Class as Part of Curriculum at the 2021 NYSOTA Annual Conference with Associate Professor and Department Chair Tsu-Hsin Howe and NYU OT Alum Michele Mills.
- Presented Intraprofessional OT-OTA Experiences: An Exploratory Study on Designing a Joint OT-OTA Class at the 2021 AOTA Annual Conference with Associate Professor and Department Chair Tsu-Hsin Howe and NYU OT Alum Michele Mills.
- Received the 2021 Neurodegenerative Diseases Networking Group (NDNG) Women in Neurodegenerative Disease Rehabilitation Science Award
- Presented at the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey's 40th Annual Seminar “Building Community and Enhancing Quality of Life Following Brain Injury."
- Won the Best Technical Paper Award at the Web 4 All (W4A) Conference for work on "Sound Cells: Designing a Browser-Based Music Technology for Braille and Print Notation."
- Received funding from the National Parks Service to improve accessibility of the interpretation of the Fort Ticonderoga Battlefield.
- Co-authored "The Differential impact of Covid-19 pandemic on access and health utilization for community-dwelling individuals with and without acquired brain injury" in Archives of Rehabilitation Research and Clinical Translation.
- Received the 2022 American Occupational Therapy Association Emerging and Innovative Practice Award
- Co-authored "The impact of complementary and integrative medicine following traumatic brain injury: A scoping review" in the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.
- Co-authored a new chapter for Training to improve functional outcomes for physical rehabilitation, exploring Interventions to improve upper extremity skills.
- Co-authored "Will you protect me or make the situation worse? Teachers’ responses to school violence against students with disabilities" in Journal of Interpersonal Violence.
- Co-authored "A call to the front: occupational therapy practice in addressing school bullying" in OTJR: Occupation, Participation and Health.
- Co-authored "The effects of neuroplasticity-based auditory information processing remediation in adults with chronic traumatic brain injury" in Neurorehabilitation.
- Co-authored "Functional Connectivity Following Plasticity-based Cognitive Training in Chronic TBI" in Neurorehabilitation.
