Every year, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging launches the Diversity Innovation Grant competition for Steinhardt researchers. The purpose of the grant is to highlight new and innovative ideas around antiracism, anti-bias, and/or Global Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging and Equity (GIDBE) from faculty, staff and student collaborators.

The grants will be awarded for projects and programming related to awareness and operationalization of GIDBE at NYU Steinhardt.  Faculty of all ranks and administrators within Steinhardt will be considered. Projects incorporating student (graduate or undergraduate) and/or staff collaboration in the execution of activities are encouraged.  Grant amounts will range from $500 to $5,000.  Interdisciplinary and cross-school collaborations are also encouraged although principal project director/faculty member must be from Steinhardt.  For more information, please email steinhardt.equity@nyu.edu.
