The 2020 Steinhardt Awards

All full-time Steinhardt administrators, clerical and technical staff, and research staff are eligible for one or more of the four Steinhardt Awards listed below. Please note that the Steinhardt Awards are separate and distinct from the University's Distinguished Administrator and Give-A-Violet Awards.

  • The Steinhardt Administrative Award for Excellence recognizes outstanding administrative and professional performance that helps Steinhardt and the University meet strategic initiatives and goals.
  • The Steinhardt Staff Award for Excellence recognizes clerical and technical staff who provide extraordinary service to their unit, school, or the University.
  • The Distinguished Professional Researcher Award is a new award created to recognize full-time research staff who have demonstrated exceptional service in support of research at the University.
  • The Dean’s Award for Impact (formerly the Community Service Award) recognizes a member of staff, administrators, or researchers who has made a significant impact for a community in need. All clerical and technical staff and full-time administrators and researchers are eligible.
