Alumni from Disney, Hearst Magazine, and NYU Tandon discuss their experience as undergraduates working with the MCC MediaLab, and how their involvement shaped their post-NYU professional journeys.
- Anastasiia Balyk (BS ’23) is a Digital Sales Planner at Disney Advertising.
- Ann Jeffers (BS '20) graduated from MCC and MediaLab, and has since worked as a freelance graphic and web designer and bookseller. Her love for higher education and advising students brought her back to work at NYU, where she has worked as an administrator at NYU Stern and NYU Tisch. She now works as a Department Administrator at NYU Tisch's Department of Design for Stage and Film.
- Marcha Johnson (BS '17, MA '19) is a multidisciplinary creative at Hearst Magazines, where she is embedded in the fashion and luxury verticals (including Town & Country, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, and Esquire). She specializes in emerging platforms and product discovery, focusing on identifying and validating opportunities that enhance the online experience for everyday site visitors. Outside of work, she enjoys running and exploring various artistic mediums that foster connections to oneself and others, while challenging monolithic or reductive conceptions of identity and existence.
