Alumni leaders share their experiences – from their days at Steinhardt to the life experiences and journeys which took them to where they are today. Q&A sessions will offer opportunities for career advice. A networking reception with food and beverage will follow.
Meet Danielle Butin. Danielle received her degree in Occupational Therapy and went on to work in healthcare before founding the Afya Foundation, a medical supply recovery organization with a mission to improve healthcare delivery in underserved areas around the world, including currently Ukraine, Turkey, and Syria.
Described in a Town and Country article as a "philanthropic triple threat...impacting global health, the environment, and her local community," Danielle has a unique vision for social change that will inspire your possibilities.
Kristie Patten, NYU Steinhardt Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Occupational Therapy, will interview Danielle.
This event will feature a conversation in Pless Hall's Black Box Theater, followed by a reception in the Pless Lobby. Seats are limited. All guests will receive a complimentary NYU Steinhardt swag bag.
