The Contemporary Vocal Ensemble (CVE) is a uniquely exhilarating experience for students and audiences. The ensemble teaches singers the performance skills needed to excel as a lead vocalist onstage singing contemporary genres. Each singer spends the semester learning to be more professional, confident, relaxed, entertaining, and compelling. The singers write the charts and learn how to work with the band. Our Fall 2023 concert features 5 very different singers. CVE is directed by veteran singer, Janice Pendarvis.
