BFA Visiting Artist Lecture: Felix Ho Yuen Chan

Felix Ho Yuen Chan is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art History at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an alum of the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study ('17). He has taught courses on East Asian Art and History of Photography at UCLA and Stony Brook University.

Felix Ho Yuen Chan will speak about Thinking of History at My Space (or, Duobu), a monumental self-portrait painted in Shanghai by the artist Chen Yifei in 1979.

Visiting Artist Lectures

Each spring, our BFA students invite contemporary visual artists to visit NYU and give lectures about their work. The content of the Visiting Artist Lectures ranges from in-depth explorations of a specific body of their work to a general overview of their practice and experience with galleries and the art world.
